A quick comparison shows that Iraq's total revenues stood at IQD 32.982 trillion in 2004. By 2022, revenues had reached their highest level on record, rising to IQD 161.697 trillion, representing 48% annual growth and an increase of approximately IQD 52.616 trillion compared with the previous year.
In contrast, during the first five months of 2026, revenues experienced a dramatic decline.
