US, UK, Canada, Netherlands and Germany consulates in Erbil, co-organized a panel discussion on legal protections for press freedom in the IKR as we marked the International Day to End Crimes of Impunity Against Journalists.
The diplomatic envoys supported the full implementation of the IKR press law and access to information law.
Mohammed Rauf, editor-in-chief of Darw Media orfanization participated as a panelist. Rauf Discussed the situation of journalism in the Kurdistan Region and the challenges journalists face.
