After the meeting of the parties involved in the Iraqi government, the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan said: "There has been no proposal to postpone the elections".
The parties involved in the Iraqi government led by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani met in the presence of President of Kurdistan Region Nechirvan Barzani on Saturday.
After the meeting, Bafel Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, said that the meeting discussed many things.
Regarding the postponement of the elections or holding it on time, Bafel Talabani said "The elections will be held on time in Kurdistan,".
He said that there is no proposal to postpone the elections in the Kurdistan Region.
