While he was harvesting with farmers in Erbil, Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq said that, “the changes in the Kurdistan Region's share of the federal budget are dishonesty, oppression and conspiracy against the Kurdistan Region, but we will confront this conspiracy in any way and will not allow it to succeed.”
The prime minister also criticized the Kurdish parties who cooperated in issuing this decision, "What is unfortunate is that the local parties involved in this conspiracy," he said. “Even worse, they should consider the reduction of the powers of the Kurdistan Region as an achievement for themselves. But Barzani emphasizes that they assure people that this is a sterile attempt and will not succeed.
