The British Secretary of State for Middle East Affairs met with a group of journalists and NGO’S in Erbil to discuss freedom of expression and women's issues.
Lord Tariq Ahmed, British Minister of State for Middle East, Africa, South Asia and the United Nations affairs at the British Foreign Office with Mark Bryson Richardson, British Ambassador to Iraq and Rosie Cave, British Consul General in the Kurdistan Region met with representatives of the media (Metro, Darw, Paragraf) and representatives of women journalists, listened to the journalists on the situation of freedom of expression and violations against journalists and women.
