Across Iraq, a total of 21,406,882 eligible voters were recorded. Of these, 11,997,084 people cast their ballots, representing a 56% turnout. Among the votes cast, 11,267,161 were valid (93.9%), while 729,923 ballots were voided (6%).

  • Sulaimani Province registered the highest number of invalid ballots: 137,611 invalid votes out of 742,256 total, amounting to 18.5%.

  • Erbil Province followed with the next highest proportion of invalid votes.
